MACRAME :This is a form of textile produced by knotting technique, rather than weaving or knitting, using different kinds of jute/cotton cords and yarns. Once the textile is produced, bags & other products are formed by sewing & stitching processes, followed by clipping and finishing. It is usually the women artisans who possess expertise in this technique.
BRAIDING : In this technique an artisan sews the jute / cotton braid or cord in a zig zag stitching fashion, turning & rotating it manually to achieve the desired shape of a beautiful bag, basket or other textile products. Post completion finishing and clipping is also done manually.
CROCHET : Crochet is a form of knitting technique in which crochet hook is used to craft different kinds of bags, baskets and other textile products, using cotton/jute yarn. The process is followed by manual clipping and finishing.
